As we face into a glorious heatwave this Easter weekend, what better time to pull together my round-up of my Spring/Summer wishlist. I share my favourite pieces that I’ve been eyeing up recently…
The items on my Spring/Summer wishlist:
My first pick for my spring/summer wishlist is this gorgeous, jewel-toned kaftan dress from H&M. I would throw this on with a pair of chunky sandals & team with the round jute bag. This is the perfect dressed-up yet casual outfit to see you through the seasons.
A long time favourite of mine is Kurt Geiger. As it is a brand I always find myself gravitating towards when it comes to boot hunting season. And for me, it’s always boot hunting season! As come rain or shine, I always find myself reaching for a good ol’ pair of boots.
And ohh what a pair! I’ve had my eye on these beauties for a while. However, I just couldn’t quite come to terms with the eye-watering cost. So, these have instead remained on my wishlist for nearly a year now. (I think I actually mentioned them in a previous wishlist post too!)
My lusting hasn’t ceased though. So, once these come back in stock I think the Carvela Skant boots are my next purchase. These are the perfect designer dupes, that I think will soon be my new ‘must wear with everything‘ purchase.
& Other Stories
This stunning leopard swimsuit brings a heavy dose of print to any beach or poolside plans this summer. It was love at first sight! And, if worn tucked in to a skirt or pair of denim shorts, it also doubles up as a great top/ bodysuit option too!
Yep…I’m jumping on the Instagram bandwagon! I don’t know if it’s just the overwhelming amount of online hype or the number of influencers wearing these recently. Or, if I do just genuinely want a pair?!
Either way, count me in! Subliminally brainwashed or not, there is no denying that these vegan- friendly babies are beautifully simplistic & they look oh so cool for spring/summer…even if they’re a tad pricey!
French company Veja pride themselves on being an ethical company. They use recyclable materials to make their shoes. Which in turn, helps to tackle the current sustainability & ethical issues in fashion.
My favourites are the Veja campo leather sneakers which feature a neutral colour-scheme. Meaning they can be teamed with any outfit. I plan on wearing these on repeat, teamed with floaty summer dresses and my Topshop military shacket that’s still going strong after 2 years!
Topshop is my ‘go to’ for most things nowadays. From basics to more trend-led pieces, I also think it’s fairly priced for a high-street brand. And as for choice, each piece usually comes in a range of colours.
If you’re anything like me, you may have picked up their ‘cult’ satin midi skirt in a fair few colours already throughout the year, so far. And with the addition of even more colours & styles for spring/summer, this trend shows no sign of slowing down.
I’ve worn mine with chunky knits & boots all A/W. And, I plan on keeping these in my spring/summer rotation, teaming them instead with trainers & an oversized tee for…well probably all of summer! I’m finding myself torn between buying the ash-toned satin midi skirt above. Or do I go for the ombre, tiger print dream below? Decisions, decisions…at under £30 each is it so wrong to get both!
Continuing the animal print theme, this stunning printed dress from Oysho is on my ‘must buy’ list too. I would team this with simple white trainers, or give it a boho edge with military boots or a trusty pair of Dr Martens. I think this could be the ideal ‘go to‘ outfit.
Just add a slouchy jumper on top to see you through spring. Or team it with chunky sandals to wear throughout the warmer summer months.
Well, that’s my round up so far of all my spring/summer wishlist items that I’m currently drooling over. So, let me know which item/s caught your eye in the comments below. Thanks for reading!
