Books On My Reading List

The Lusting Life - Books on my reading list

Although now late, I’d planned to publish this post to celebrate World Book Day. But, you know…life got in the way! So I’m adding a new monthly post to share either the books I’m currently reading, or ones I plan on reading next.

So if there’s a book you love that isn’t mentioned and you think it should be on my list, then let me know in the comments below.

When Will There Be Good News? – By Kate Atkinson

Thanks to my mum, I’ve been a huge fan of Kate Atkinson’s books for a while now. I’m currently reading ‘When will there be good news?’Β following the adventures of detective, Jackson Brodie. I’d highly recommend any of her books!

The Beautiful Dead – By Belinda Bauer

Recommended by Amazon based on my past purchases, so it’s on my kindle waiting to be read.

When God Was a Rabbit – By Sarah Winman

Recommendation from my lovely motherbear, I’ve started reading this just before bed.

Swimming Lessons – By Claire Fuller

Another Amazon recommendation based on my past purchases, I’ve heard good things about this book though so excited to add this to my future reading list.

A Boy Made of Blocks – By Keith Stuart

This has been recommended to me several times so it’s been downloaded, ready and waiting to be read on the kindle.

The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold FryΒ – ByΒ Rachel Joyce

Such a wonderful book. I’m currently reading this for the 2nd time!

A Man Called Ove – By Fredrik Backman

This one has been recommended to me by so many people, so I’m making a start on this one today!

The Best of Adam Sharp – Graeme Simsion

I adored the Rosie Project & the sequel, The Rosie Effect. If you haven’t read either then I’d thoroughly recommend reading both! I’ve recently picked up another of Graeme Simsion’s books, so have added to my reading list.

The Goldfinch – By Donna Tartt

Again, this one comes highly recommended. I’ve been meaning to read it for a while now, so this one is next on my must read list!
