The Zara Spring/Summer Edit

The Lusting Life - The Zara Edit: Spring/Summer Favourites

Although I’m not in the position to buy any of these just yet… a girl can look right? I found myself browsing Zara’s website longingly drooling over just a few things, so I thought I’d share my favourite Zara items for Spring/Summer. Enjoy!

The Pretty Sandal

Firstly, these Pearl Strappy Sandals from Zara look incredible, I’d have to see them on but I adore the pearl detail & think they’d add a glamorous touch to a plain outfit!

The Embellished Blouse

Jewel cuffed blouse

I also love this beautiful Blouse with jewel cuffs, an understated knot style top with just a hint of detail/ embellishment on the cuffs.

The Leather Look Leggings

I’d team the above blouse a pair of edgy, black, leather boots and these Faux Leather Leggings. I’ve struggled to find a perfect pair of faux-leather trousers for a while… but these look quite nice on the model. Most of my previous attempts ended in either the trousers stuck half way up my legs or the ones that do make it over my thighs bunch up & looks more shar pei than chic once on!

The Chanel Dupes

Chanel pumps have always been on my lust list but they are an item that’s out of my price league! I know they’d get trashed pretty quick as I’d probably wear them daily so for that reason I could never justify splashing the cash on Chanel.

However, Zara’s plaited ballerina pumps are a cheaper, high-street alternative that I think look pretty chic and I’d definitely get my wear out of them without worrying too much if they didn’t last too long!

The Gold Bag of Dreams

This Mini Golden Bowling Bag is a dream. It’s so cute & may not be to everyone’s taste but this marmite item is one I’m lusting after! I quite like its slightly OTT, tacky look! Either way, a gold fan or not this is definitely a perfectly sized, statement bag & it comes with a matching purse too.

The Suede Jacket

Another item to lust after is this Suede-effect jacket with zips which is stunning! It comes in either sky blue or pink… or why not get both! I’ve seen this pop up on Instagram a couple of times, I already have a faux-suede pink jacket but a girl needs options, am I right?

The Statement Shoe

These immediately caught my eye! Who doesn’t love a fun, statement pump to jazz up a boring outfit? These velvet shoes with embroidery detail are just that! Pineapple print, check. velvet, check, budget-friendly, check! I NEED.

The Cute Backpack

Whilst this cute Backpack with scarf is another spring/summer addition I could see being the perfect item to bring a little sunshine to my outfit! I love the gingham scarf detail too, as gingham is back! I see backpacks being a big, high-street trend once again… but this time in a new range of summery shades.

The Wild Card

Zara oversized printed shirt

Another seriously marmite item I seem to be drawn to is this Oversized Printed Shirt. It would make a quirky addition to my wardrobe… I don’t know what occasion I’d wear it to but I like the whimsical, fun print & its orange/blue contrast. You’d definitely stand out in this one!

The Classic Clutch

Another statement piece is this bag, I adore leopard print & strongly believe it goes with everything! It’s a trend that will continue to stick around forever, so grab yourself a classic clutch like this Leopard Print Bag to instantly add a bold, punchy pop of print to your outfit.

The Embroidered Jeans

Last but not least, I quite like the detailing on these Mid Rise Embroidered Skinny Jeans. It’s quite subtle detailing compared to some other ones I’ve seen on the high-street at the moment, but these would add a subtle pop of floral for Spring without being the show-stealer of every outfit.

  1. Omg thank you for posting this! I love Zara but I find sometimes I look at their stuff and there’s just nothing I like but sometimes I look and there are so many gems! Buying the leather effect leggings asap, such a good price. I love the blue jacket but can’t really afford it 😦 I also like the goldfish shirt I think it’d look nice tucker into something or under dungarees. Think zoella has it actually. Great post! Xx

    1. ahh thanks, I’m glad you enjoyed it! I totally agree, I either love everything or find nothing at all in Zara but really like A LOT of their new season collection. I’m still lusting after the jacket too, & I hope you grab the leggings whilst they’re still in stock. Unfortunately they just didn’t suit me 😦 so I stuck with the just buying the goldfish shirt & the pineapple shoes!!

      1. That’s true. I think I might get them for summer – they’d be so nice with white cropped frayed jeans. Not that I ever wear white jeans because I spill coffee on myself all the time!! x
