Hush Spring 17 Collection

The Lusting Life - The Hush Spring 17 Collection

I wanted to wish you all a Happy Valentines Day! But instead of adding to the endless mushy posts of what to buy your other halves this valentines, my gift to you is my favourite items from the Hush Spring 17 Collection full launch!

I featured my picks from the Hush Pre-Spring 17 Collection a couple of week’s ago, but Hush saved the full launch of their Spring 17 till today, Valentines Day… the perfect day to treat yo’self (or drop some not so subtle hints to your partner!)

The Slogan Jumper

Ok, so I can’t really post a Valentines Day blog post without having at least one ‘love’ inspired piece… I already have one of Hush’s ‘Cest Si Bon’ slogan jumpers, it’s so comfy and I get a lot of wear out of it. So I imagine their new Spring 17 Embroided Love Jumper will also be equally as popular this season.

The Statement Piece

One of my favourite items however, has to be their Star Lace Top. I love how bold & unique it is as a statement piece, it would certainly jazz up plain jeans or work trousers. And I also adore the cropped, Parisian chic Selena jumper with its frayed edge. It would be the perfect, effortless piece to throw on, on a cool Spring day/ eve.

The Investment Basics

A simple, good quality dress in black or white can be dressed up or dressed down for a number of occasions. I love both the Camellia and Daphne dresses, and the amount of wear I’d get out of each for work, weekends or dressed up for a night out.

And I adore Hush’s new jacket collection, like the stunning suede one above that would be a worthwhile investment piece or their cropped, knitted ones below. Perfect to transition a Spring/Summer outfit when it’s still a little chilly outside/ when battling the unpredictable British weather!

The Pop of Colour

I also noticed their jackets feels a little Chanelesque…winner! The luxe, basket stitch jacket comes in a bold blue too, which would brighten up any outfit. But I prefer the zingy pop of yellow, thrown on top of a plain white tee/ jeans combo it would be a standout piece.

This draped skirt below also caught my eye, I’m not really a swooshy skirt type of girl but this one below is very romantic & girly. Instead of black trousers, I’d brighten up my work outfit with this navy skirt instead. Or wear it with an edgier twist at the weekend, teaming it with biker boots, a band tee & a classic, black, leather jacket.
