Hush Spring 17: Pre-Collection
As soon as I posted my Hush sale picks post, Hush’s spring 17: pre -collection dropped on their site…typical timing! So I took another look on their website at the brand new collection…& it’s a stunner.
The Spring Collection features beautiful prints, stylish, fresh, white/grey pieces & pieces in a romantic colour palette including blush pink & olive green. I’m in love with most of the collection… standard!
I’d wear both the dresses to work, smartening up the look with a blazer or adding the grey waterfall cardi on top (seen below.) Or wear both at the weekend teamed with a trusty pair of ankle boots/ strappy sandals and the gorgeous, blush pink, Austen leather jacket draped around my shoulders.
Hush’s work-wear pieces are divine, the relaxed trousers would be perfect for light, breezy spring days teamed with printed loafers, a simple short sleeved blouse top and statement necklace.
And both the jumpsuit/ waterfall cardi would be easily transitional from day to night. Whilst I think the waterfall cardi looks like the perfect go-to piece to throw on to smarten up any casual work outfit.
What I love about Hush is the relaxed style of all their pieces. Most items could easily be smartened up for work but equally be worn as comfy yet stylish pieces in the eve/ at weekends.
I’d team the knot jersey dress with ankle boots & the green jacket for a comfy weekend outfit, whilst the printed shirt would be perfect dressed up for work or work with jeans and heels for a night out.
And finally, I spotted the perfect slouchy boyfriend jeans that look like my style/ fit. These look like a stylish but laid -back choice to sling on with a statement tee/ jumper on a cool, spring day.
And I also love the look of the detailing on the fringed cuff jumper. I think this would look amazing paired with slouchy jeans and loafers or with the cropped, carpenter denim jacket for a more edgy look.
All in all, I love the new Hush Spring 17 pre-collection. I adore the soft colour palette and particularly the ease with which each piece could be dressed up for work or dressed down for casual wear throughout Spring.
(P.s just in case you were wondering, this post isn’t sponsored by Hush. I just bloody love Hush & the fab clothing they sell!) Thanks for reading!
